Description

The last flea and craft market sponsored by the Coloma Area Historical Society (CAHS) for the 2023 season will feature not only a market but live demonstrations throughout the day.
--10 am – noon Mr. Ira and volunteers from Central Wisconsin Trout Unlimited will demonstrate fly tying for fishing
--11 am – 1 pm Ms Pat, an 1800’s schoolteacher, showing off the museum’s classroom and walking the grounds.
--11 am - 1 pm Ms Sue will demonstrate the loom.
--Noon – 2 pm Ms Barb will demonstrate butter-making.
The CAHS museum will be open from 10 am – 2 pm for visits and the open-air market will be open 9 am – 2 pm. There is plenty of parking and a playground for the children. Everything is in the Coloma Community Park just south of Coloma. The market will have a number of vendors, hot dog sales, mums, and at least one children’s booth. In addition to their own creations, the children will demonstrate and teach crochet to anyone wanting to learn.
All the shops in Coloma’s downtown will be open as well as the Alpaca farm and the Clauson’s Swedish Breakfast (both just outside of town), so there is plenty to make the drive into Coloma worthwhile. This will also be the last day to enter the Watertower Scavenger Hunt for an opportunity to win Coloma Cash.
